Purple Nurple, a.k.a. Mendocino Purps, The Purps, or Nurps, is a highly sought after purple strain out of Mendocino County, California (south of Humboldt County).  In the 90’s, clones of the plant were taken to British Columbia, Canada where the strain was stabilized to allow for seed production and distribution. Nurps grows dark green and stout, it turns more and more purple as the plant ripens and makes its way to maturity.  The buds turn out dense, dark green-purple in color, and are renowned as some of the best tasting buds in the world.
